Tile is the most versatile product you can add to a bathroom. Tile can be used in a bathroom as a floor covering, wall covering, ceiling covering, or countertop and backsplash. It's
resistance to water, mold, and mildew, longevity, and easiness to clean make it ideal for bathroom applications. The following photos show Minnesota tile installation projects
completed by our installers. Bathroom tile applications include shower walls and ceilings, bathroom floors, whirlpool surrounds, backsplashes, and wainscoting. The most popular
bathroom tiles are porcelain tile and ceramic tile, but travertine tile bathrooms, slate tile bathrooms, and glass tile bathroom walls are becoming more popular. Once the grout and/or
stone has been sealed, a tiled bathroom is very easy to clean. If you're planning a bathroom remodel you can't go wrong with the addition of tile.
This bathroom floor tile is porcelain. We
installed the 12" x 12" tile using 1/8" grout
joints.
This Golden Valley tile installation
includes a whirlpool surround, shower
pan, wainscoting, and porcelain floor
that were tiled with an extremely
durable 12" x 24" porcelain tile. The
larger sized tile reduce the amount of
grout joints making it easier to clean
this bathroom. Another benefit of
installing larger tile is it tends to make
the room look bigger. The customer
choose a lighter gray grout to accent
the running bond tile pattern. Our
bathroom tile installation completes the
backsplash behind the sink on the
vanity by protecting it from any
moisture issues. We use 100% silicon
in the expansion joint between the
countertop and backsplash tile.

This Minneapolis tile installation was
completed with a vintage ceramic tile
look. The floor is a contrasting black
and white ceramic mosaic with gray
grout. The ceramic subway tile covers
the walls in a running bond pattern
capped with a chair rail and
transitioned to the floor with a cove
base. Our Minneapolis tile installers
did a nice job cutting the archway
going into the shower. The walls in the
shower area and behind the tile
wainscoting was prepped with a
cement backer board. We tape all the
seams in our installations with a mesh
tape that is alkali-resistant, because
some backer boards are alkaline and
with degrade other tapes.

This Andover, MN tile installation
includes a whirlpool surround, shower
pan, and porcelain floor. The diagonal
tile pattern is a nice contrast to the
standard pattern that covers most of
the space in this bathroom tile
installation. Our tile installers placed a
dark travertine mosaic tile just below a
travertine pencil piece to cap off the
whirlpool backsplash.
We have completed many Blaine tile
installation projects including this
bathroom with quartzite tile. The water
beads off of the finished stone tile in
the bathroom after being sealed with a
penetrating sealer. The floor tile is
also warmed with a NU-Heat electrically
heated floor.
